Boston Folk Club has been meeting in the town for over 30 years, in a variety of venues including the Golden Lion, Blackfriars, the Pineapple Club and the Copper Kettle. For the past 10 years the club has been at its present home.

Over the years the club has seen performances from some of the biggest names in folk and roots music - Dick Gaughan, Dave Swarbrick, Martin Carthy, Kate Rusby, Julie Matthews and Chris While, Iain Matthews and Dave Cousins to name but a few.

As well as the headline artists, the club also provides a platform for local singers and musicians to perform to an audience, often for the first time, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Over the course of the years, many of these local artistes have developed into quite classy performers themselves.

Boston Folk Club also regularly features singers from other local folk clubs such as Spalding and Alford.

So if you sing or play or just want to listen, come along.
